First, thank you for reading! I am a senior film student looking forward to graduation in May 2011. A few months ago I saw a documentary called Handmade Nation by a fancy crafter/filmmaker named Faythe Levine and it really changed my life. This is not just hyperbole! I swear it did. I love crafting, but until I saw that film I never thought seriously about making crafting a career. All I want to do anymore is craft!
I started up my Etsy shop on October 9, 2010. I put up a bunch of my photography first. Since then I've been adding crafts. I have a lot of ideas in the works. So far no sales, but hopefully that will change. I'm working on finding that one thing that people eat up!
This blog will follow my process of starting an Etsy shop. I have no business training, so it's all new to me! I'll give updates on my crafts and my research to make my business better. Hopefully it will be a fun ride!
